2. Delivery methods
Within the Netherlands: Postnl
Rest of Europe: local postal service (via Postnl, with insurance)

Important note:

We are a home deco and designer gift store in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
We specialise in original home accessories and decoration from designers and independent brands.
We take great care in packing your order for worldwide shipping.
We do not ship your order ourselves, since we are not a delivery company.

We hand over your order to Postnl, a local Dutch postal service company.
As soon as your order has left our shop, they are responsible for its journey.
When the parcel has reached its designated country, a local postal service will take over the responsibility.
We will always provide a tracking number, so you can follow its journey online, any time.

We are not, however, responsible for errors made by a local postal service.
Neither are we responsible when provided with an incorrect address or when you are unable to receive your order for any given reason.
When your parcel has been returned because of one of these reasons, we will not refund the shipping costs, we only refund your puchase.
So please check if you have provided us with the correct address!

We will, of course, always help you when needed, any time and within our means.

3. Average transit time
the Netherlands: 1 to 3 business days
Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg: 2 - 4 business days
Other countries within Europe: 4 - 7 business days
Outside Europe: 6 - 10 business days inluss hold by customs

This only applies if the item is in stock.
Some items have an extra delivery time, this is indicated on the product page.

Accidental long custom holds are not calculated within the indicated lead times.
We work with tracking codes, so you can always trace your parcel.

4. Multiple items:
When one order consists of multiple items, the transit time will not be affected.
This will only be the case when one or more items are not on stock.
We will send the complete order when everything is on stock.

Our website will calculate automatically the total weight and corresponding rate.
If you wish to buy one or more items within one rate, please let us know.
We can provide you the weight of each item.

Return policy

1. Returning your purchase
It's possible that you just don't like your purchase, or it looks different then on your screen.
In that case you can return your purchase within 14 days to the store.
You are not obliged to give a reason, but this will help us to improve our service.
You can send your purchase(s) in original condition, with the original packaging (if applicable) and well wrapped and packed with adquate postage to the store:

2. Refund
You will only be refunded the value of your returned purchase(s) without shipping costs.
Returning goods is at your own expense.
If the goods do not reach us in the original condition, then your right to a full refund may be affected.
Store Without a Home is not responsible for returned items being lost or damaged in transit.

Only when you received a defect item which is confirmed by Store Without a Home, all shipping costs will be refunded, and only if you don't wish to receive a new item.

3. Returning a wrong item
If you receive a different item than the one you have ordered, please send a message to:

Please mention your name, address, order number and a description of the product. We will send you the correct item as soon as possible.

4. Returning a defect item
If you receive an item which doesn't work correctly or has a defect, or any broken items, please send a message to:

Please mention your order number and a description of the the defect so we can help you find a solution and/or provide (technical) support. If the item still doesn't work to your satisfaction, you will receive a new item as soon as possible and without any charges.
